Cornwall Day is back! In celebration of milestones, new beginnings, and all that our growing business community offers, July 29th will be a day for residents and visitors to stop, shop, eat, listen, experience and linger longer in Cornwall. Participating businesses and organizations will offer summer sales, local art, music, family activities, and more. Schdule of events below.

 

 

CORNWALL VILLAGE

9:00-12:30pm

Co-op Farm Market – Locally grown fresh produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, herbs and more.

10:30-12pm

Cornwall Historical Society - Talk and Walk at 7 Pine Street.  More info cornwallhistpricspciety.org

11:00 – 1:30pm   

Grumbling Gryphons - Theater Campers performance at Town Hall. Children will parade on the Town Green in costumes to the music of The Berkshire Resilience Brass Band who will weave their jazzy grooves. Potluck Celebration after the festivities in Cornwall Town Hall! All are invited!

 

WEST CORNWALL

9;30-1pm

Farm Market – Fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, local crafts.

10-11am

Trintiy River Trail - walk with Barton Jones, starts at the trailhead.

 

Terry Burke’s bike ride for all ages up River Road (3 miles), starts in West Cornwall.

10-1pm

Ian Ingersoll Furniture - Tent Sale & Art Show.

10-2pm

Conwall Conservation Trust - Showing of works by Debby Jones.

10-4pm

Three Guys Ski & Ride – SUMMER SALE on winter gear and apparel! Plus, music & food on the green (noon – 2 pm.).

10-5pm

Covered Bridge Electric Bike – Free 1-hour electric bike rentals for Cornwall residents (no reservations, first come, first served).

11-5pm

The Wish House – Enjoy the shop and activities on the lawn including local artisan fair, music with Nick & Carol from 2-4pm, plant sale from Cornwall Bridge Gardens.

 

Upstairs Wellness (above The Local) – Drop in for wellness…it’s FREE! Qigong with Irene Mardal (11am and 2pm), Grounding Movement with Helen Selendy (3:15pm), Loving Kindness Guided Meditation with Nancy Opgaard (4pm), Five-minute chair massages with Helen Selendy (1–3pm).

12-5pm

Hats for Cancer - Stop by The Union to learn about Hats for Cancer, see hand-knitted items, and enjoy cookies and iced tea from Suzie’s Sweets.

1-5pm

Sally Van Doren Studio – Open studio and meet the artist.

2-5pm

Souterrain Gallery - Book talk and signing with Martha Voutas Donegan at 2pm (More info at wishhouse.com.). Tea & Matriachi with artist Emily Waters and her exhibit Matrix at 4pm (more info at souterraingallery.net).

3-4:30pm

Crafts and chalk art for the kids! - Patio at Frank. Food. Special thanks to The Cornwall Library for hosting this event.

5pm

Iron Bank raffle drawing for A Cornwall A Corn Scavenger Hunt – enter the acorn scavenger hunt for a chance to win gift baskets will local goods! More information will be distributed at both farm markets on Saturday, July 22.

 

CORNWALL BRIDGE

Noon-5pm

ThunderHorse Creative - stop by for a sale on regional and Cornwall related items including totes, t-shirts and decals.

Cornwall Package Store – Enjoy a curated selection of wines for tasting.

And…wrap up Cornwall Day on the patio at Frank. Food with drinks, dinner and some great jazz with the Todd Londagin Trio from 5-8pm!
